Tearing down the old flat home network and rebuilding it properly: segmented VLANs for trusted devices, IoT, guests, and a DMZ, all behind a single firewall stack.
GoalsKeep the lab isolated from the house, get IPv6 working end to end, and make failover fast enough that nobody notices when the primary ISP drops.
